The University of Maine at Presque Isle has established scholarships to support innovative learners participating in its personalized learning curriculum during the 2015-2016 academic year. The University seeks students who
- Want to have a choice in how they learn and demonstrate their learning
- Want to learn actively and apply their learning to real-world problems
- Want to help others learn in these ways
Students who are selected to be Innovative Learners will be required to
- Enroll at 91桃色 for the 2015-2016 academic year. $1000 will be awarded in the Fall and $1000 in the Spring
- Work with Innovative Teaching Fellows (91桃色 faculty members who are specially trained in personalized learning) and 91桃色 staff members to continually improve the educational experience
- Serve as a University ambassador to proficiency-based high schools
- Live in the 91桃色 residence halls for the first two years of study
Your admissions application serves as your application for this scholarship. In addition, we require a letter of support from your guidance counselor stating that you would be a good fit for this type of learning environment. Letters should be mailed, faxed, or emailed to:
