We鈥檙e located in a small, safe town in rural northern Maine, but you鈥檇 be surprised about . Presque Isle is the hub of Aroostook County, the largest county east of the Mississippi. The , population about 9,500, hosts a commercial service airport and daily bus services, its own  and radio stations, and world-class skiing and mountain biking trails. There are lots of multi-purpose trails for you to enjoy.

From our campus, it鈥檚 a short walk to Presque Isle鈥檚 downtown area, which features shops, restaurants, and a movie theater. Further north is the city鈥檚 .

Presque Isle is within a short driving distance of many聽picturesque rural communities聽and some of the most beautiful, unspoiled wilderness an outdoor enthusiast could ask for.聽, a ski and snowboarding area is nearby, and for those interested in hiking, biking, running, skiing, or paddling, there are many聽non-motorized trails聽to explore and聽聽to enjoy.

There鈥檚 so much to experience in our state鈥揻rom gorgeous beaches to great food and festivals鈥搒o be sure to check out the rest of . And keep in mind that Northern Maine shares a border with Canada, providing the opportunity for exciting day and weekend trips to destinations such as Fredericton, , and Quebec City, , so don鈥檛 forget to bring your passport.
