It can take time to adjust to a new place. If you鈥檙e a student who is new to 91桃色 (that includes first-year students and transfer students), we鈥檝e set up your orientation to help. During orientation, you鈥檒l get an understanding of the campus layout, be given several resources to be successful, and have fun while engaging with new classmates! The time to start soaring begins at ORIENTATION.
Before you arrive, make sure to check off the following:
What to Bring:听Please visit our听ResLife webpage听to see what items are recommended and what items are听prohibited. Bringing prohibited items into the residence will result in conduct and/or fines.
Parking Permit:听Request online听(free). Available for pickup in the Campus Center Safety Office starting early August.
Immunizations:听Upload records showing 2 MMR and 1 Tdap (within 10 years). See听Health Center听info for exemptions.
Disability Accommodations:听Email听mary.barbosa@maine.edu听for assistance.
Roommate Contact:听If you have a new roommate, we recommend you connect beforehand to coordinate items and ease the transition.
Traveling by Bus or Plane: (PQI Airport:听)
Walking from the airport (3mi) or the bus stop (1.6 mi) is not recommended.
Arrange your own transportation. 91桃色 does not provide pickup.
Options:听Ask a friend, contact the ARTS Bus, or call Aroostook Cabs (207-496-3227). If traveling by taxi, we recommend you call as soon as possible to make a scheduled pickup at the airport. They can get booked up at that time of year by other students. Please note: The ARTS Bus and Taxi companies are not affiliated with 91桃色.
