A recent study had students either restudy material by underlining key information, write down what they remember after a lesson, or create and correct plausible conceptual errors. In a test a week later, those who created and corrected the errors outperformed the recall group by 0.51 SD and outperformed the restudy group by 1.00 SD! Read more here:
