Medical Laboratory Sciences, B.S. (Full Time Option)

The MLS bachelor鈥檚 degree is a degree completion program designed for working MLTs who are ready to advance their education and careers. This fully online program offers a flexible route to career progression through accelerated 7-week courses, and no additional clinical rotations are required. Note: MLS 430, Senior Seminar, is a full-semester course.

Applicants must hold an MLT degree, and all previously completed coursework, including general education requirements, will be evaluated upon admission. Because students enter with diverse academic backgrounds, the number of remaining general education courses will vary by individual. Graduates are prepared for advanced roles in clinical laboratories and expanded career opportunities.

Academic and professional advisors work closely with students to develop a tailored academic pathway and provide ongoing guidance throughout the program. This sample plan outlines a full-time pathway to complete the MLS B.S. in four semesters.
